ABOUT JULIA DAVIDSON
BIOGRAPHY
Completing a Fine Art degree at Sheffield in the 1980’s I lived and worked in London, employed in publishing and also at Christies Auctioneers before travelling through Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. On return to the UK I pursued a career in Education, continuing my creative interests and completed an MA in Image and Time Based Media at Leeds Becket University in 2012.

Working from a studio in Hull has provided the opportunity to be part of an artistic community, benefitting from the creative association provided by the Feral Art School's Independent studios scheme.
My work focusses on experimentation with mixed media, predominantly oils and acrylics, creating intuiatve abstracts that are inspired by my surroundings in the dales and coastal areas of North and East Yorkshire.

I'm currently expanding my collection of work to exhibit and am pleased to have been selected to show in several exhibitions and am building the number of private collectors.
